About

Toronto's Modele, consisting of Chris Huggett and Nathan Wiltshire, blends deep baritone vocals, atmospheric guitars, driving rhythms, and cinematic textures into a distinctive fusion of post-punk and gothic sounds. Signed to Young and Cold Records in Germany, the duo released their debut album, Pleasure for the Holy, in 2025 and has since toured extensively throughout North America and Europe, building a growing worldwide following through powerful live performances and a strong online presence. Modele continues to connect with audiences through emotionally charged live performances and an immersive sound that sets them apart within the genre. Combining classic post-punk and gothic aesthetics with a contemporary vision, Modele has forged a sound that is unmistakably their own. With their sophomore album, Divine Surrender, arriving in 2026, the band continues to evolve their signature sound with haunting melodies, soaring choruses, and introspective songwriting.
